| The ever-increasing
need for a knowledge-base for developing a human capitalism
for the YMCA came into realization when the Library
emerged as a unique information provider in the year
1988. The main objective of the YMCA Library is to give
the students access to the right information which is
their basic right.

Books :
The Library stocks an evergrowing collection
of twelve thousand books on various subjects
areas such as:
- Arts, Literature and Language
- Cultural, Religious and Political studies
- Economics and Environment
- History and biblographies
- Management
- Media, Communication and IT
- Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management etc.
Journals and Magazines:
One hundred and twenty journals from national
and international publishers a dds
the information collection. The library also shelves
300 boun journal volumes.
Newspapers:
The library stock its news update with a reputed and
major news paper from country side consisting
of 22 number in English and Hindi. A back volume of
the latest two months are shelved for reference.
Number of Beneficiaries:
The Major beneficiaries are the student community which
consist on an average number of above 3000 in a given
year, the members, the staff and the well wishers of
YMCA totaling approximately 4000 and above.
